LP Artwork: Lou Rawls Live!

I've always loved Lou Rawls' voice, and I've always like this album and its cover. Recorded in early 1966, only one track was released as a single and that's the one in this week's program: The Shadow of Your Smile.

LP Artwork: The Look of Love

The title of this week's program is Cry Me a River and it's Diana Krall's fine version that is included in the playlist.

It comes from one of her best selling albums, The Look of Love, released in 2001, and arranged and conducted by the wonderfully understated Claus Ogerman who took on the same role for Frank Sinatra's acclaimed album with Antonio Carlos Jobim.

LP Artwork: Love dot com

This week's theme of Somewhere gave me the opportunity to include a track from my latest album release entitled, Love dot com. It was recorded in Seoul during a short tour of Korea.

Included is the Roddy Frame/Aztec Camera hit, Somewhere In My Heart, which was a major hit for the band in 1987. However, we've given it a ballad treatment.
