Then we have, as stated on the artwork, Dusty Springfield's first recording with the Memphis Sound: Dusty in Memphis, released in 1969.

LP Artwork: Watertown & Lonely Is the Name

A pair of album covers from the catalogues of the best of friends: Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.

Recorded in late 1969, Watertown, was, commercially, one of Sinatra's least successful albums. However, it has achieved almost cult status and is one of the most innovative of all his 'concept' albums.

Lonely Is the Name was recorded by Sammy Davis Jr a year earlier and included songs as diverse as Jimmy Webb's Up, Up and Away (featured in this week's program) and Cole Porter's Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye.
